Dowds Irish Dance Academy

Dowds Irish Dance Academy is located in, Kansas City, Kansas, and Omaha & Lincoln, Nebraska where students will be taught by a world champion Irish step dancer and former lead dancer with Riverdance who follows a proven traditional Irish method of instruction.  The Academy’s owner, Marty Dowds, was also a successful professional Irish dancer.  This makes a big difference to every student. At our Academy you or your child will learn each step from a master.  His philosophy is that each student should be successful at each level before progressing to the next.  Those basic skills set the foundation for great dance and future success.  We have students from beginner level to World Qualifiers! Marty Dowds is a TCRG (Commission Certified Irish Dance Teacher) and the school is certified with Irish Dance Commission (An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha –CLRG) offering students the opportunity to competitively dance.
