Mullane Godley Academy

Open for over 36 years, the Mullane Godley Academy currently has 175 dancers, allowing for small personalized class size which has been the secret to our success and provides enthusiastic individual attention to each student. MG continues to be one of North America's premiere Irish dance academies. The Academy has always taken a team approach in instruction where all dancers are treated equally and all share in the commitment of a dedicated teaching staff. Through this global approach, dancers share in the talent of a teaching staff of 8, in which 3 have won the coveted World Championship title. In addition to our recreational classes for which we are known, together the teaching staff has also choreographed and coached a multitude of Regional, National, and World Champion teams and solos, along with the only school in Chicago who has won both a solo mens and ladies World title.   The Academy offers classes for everyone. From recreational dance instruction, to preparation for the World Championship, in the Mullane Godley Irish Dance Academy you will find a hardworking— yet fun atmosphere, from both the teaching staff and the student. To illustrate the hard work, preparation and practice of the dancers (affectionately known as The Academy is proud to treat every MuGster equally ... this is not a goal, but a reality. Each dancer, whether Beginner, Recreational, or Competitive receives the same dedicated and energetic instruction.
