Nominations Now Closed

Nominations opened between August 15th-September 15th via a link to enter on Irish Dancing Magazine's website homepage.

The announcement of this year's recipients is taking place Late-October 2023 by Irish Dancing Magazine. 

Parents, dancers, fellow teachers and industry professionals were all invited to nominate exceptional dance teachers. 

Prior recipients included dance teachers from Australia, Canada, The Netherlands, Ireland, the UK and the USA. Their dedication to students both on and off the competitive stage, along with their commitment to creating a strong sense of community, resonated with those who nominated them. Parents praised the life lessons their children learned from being part of a supportive dance family, all thanks to their dedicated teachers.

The Global Excellence in Teaching Award not only recognises outstanding teachers but also emphasises their importance in the local community. Winning this award brings well-deserved attention and publicity to dance schools across the globe. Previous recipients have seen their beginner classes grow as local media coverage showcased their credentials and dedication.
