Every dancer has a story, and this dress tells mine. It reflects the hours of training, the adrenaline of competing on stage, the feeling of being able to shine on stage in a dress that I helped create. Each detail reflects an aspect of Irish Dance. The print of a majestic leopard symbolises every hour of training spent refining and perfecting dances. Apart from being complimentary, the colours I chose for this dress also have meanings;
Red = Passion and Love,
Brown = Stability, Reliability and Comfort,
Black = Elegance and Strength .
Irish Dance has taught me all of this.

Open Wings has an iconic look that everyone can recognise, and so does this dress. This dress has many unique features, one being the side cape. I wanted to add a side cape to my design as they’re not commonly used on dresses in the Irish Dance world. For the back of the dress, I did a similar design, but with a back sash aswell.I feel that the back sash along with the side cape and flowy 3D sleeve stands out from other designs on the back of dresses.
