Anam Cara Irish Dance School - USA

Anam Cara Irish Dance School offers Irish Dance instruction in Stamford, Connecticut, welcoming dancers from beginners through advanced and Championship levels.

Under the direction of Megan Slocum, TCRG, and John Lydon, TCRG, Anam Cara provides dancers with the opportunity to develop strong Irish Dance technique while progressing through each stage of their dancing journey. Classes are offered for Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Novice, Prizewinner, and Championship dancers, with additional training opportunities in traditional set dancing and céilí dancing.

Anam Cara encourages dancers to develop their skills, confidence, and love of Irish Dance in a supportive school environment. Students interested in competitive Irish Dance have opportunities to train and progress through the competitive levels, while team dancing and traditional set instruction help dancers experience other important aspects of the Irish Dance tradition.

Located in Stamford, the school serves dancers and families in Fairfield County and the surrounding southwestern Connecticut area.

Anam Cara Irish Dance School is registered with An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha (CLRG) and is part of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America – New England Region.
